  1. Welcome to SitC Lister 2.0
  2. The program was re-written from the ground up in Object Pascal (in
  3. preparation for eventual conversion to C++)
  4.  
  5. Here are the differences, fixes, and enhancements over 1.x
  6.  
  7. •    Now supports 32 output files, each with up to 32 source directories.
  8. •    Date/Time stamp option for output files.
  9. •    Can write file's modified date to listings.
  10. •    Can create Tabby Request Directories file.
  11. •    Can optionally create MS-DOS type text files.
  12. •    faster scanning (seems to be at least 30% faster).
  13. •    improved interface.
  14. •    file filters based on date and/or size.
  15. •    QuickList option for registered users.
  16. •    supports cut, copy, paste, and clear for Outputs and Sources.
  17. •    Configuration dialog is now modeless.

  19. 1.x users: You need to re-create your preferences file from scratch.  Your old
  20. preferences file will not be disturbed.

  28. •    the "Text File Type" option is not active if Configure Window is active.

  45.     displaying as a blank line in the Configure list.

  56. •    If a Source volume is not available, the offending Source is ignored. If the
  57.     missing Source is an offline AppleShare volume, and if you don't re-configure your
  58.     Outputs and Sources (and re-write the prefs file) prior to quitting,  then
  59.     if the AppleShare volume is back online next time you run SitC Lister,
  60.     the Source will be scanned.  If, however, you do anything to get the prefs
  61.     re-written, then the Source will be forgotten.
  62. •    2.0b1 had a bug where the last path item on AppleShare volumes would be repeated.
  63.     2.0b2 fixed that bug, but then the last path item on non-Appleshare volumes
  64.     were ignored.  2.0b3 hopefully puts that bug to rest for good.
  65. •    Fixed a bug where the parent directory of the Source would not be written if
  66.     the "Only Paths" option was selected.
